In-Person Tutoring for GCSE Maths students in Newcastle on Tyne
I provide in-person maths tuition at GCSE level.
About me:
At 6th form I achieved top grades in A-level Maths, Further Maths, and S-level Maths. I then completed a 4 year master's degree in Microelectronics and Software Engineering, at Newcastle University.
I then had a career in software spanning about 30 years, with experience applying mathematical thinking in complex, real-world systems, several of which were mission critical.
As such I am not only positioned to help the tutee gain the highest possible grade, but also to show how sometimes abstract sounding themes have real world relevance.
Maths is a foundational skill for many career paths, including science, and engineering. The best grades lead to the best prospects!
Classes are structured around the exam board you / your child is preparing for (typically AQA or Edexcel).
I tutor independently at the Central Library in Newcastle, in one of the open seated areas on the quieter floors.

My current price for new tutees is £35 per hour.
